The obesity
rates in various developed as well as developing countries is increasing
rapidly. The main cause of this is lack of exercise and junk food. Some people
are obese due to their DNA factor.
Many times
in order to control our weight and have a light lean body, we avoid many of the
tasty delicious food that we see on the go. Sometimes we can control it and
sometimes we are not. But as said, there is solution to every problem.
Scientists at the Flinders University in Australia have come up with the result
after their heavy research on how to avoid being obese or fat. This solution
will free you from following the diet chart and even doing regular exercise.

Brown fat and White fat
We humans
have two kind of fat residing in our body. One is brown fat and the other one
is white fat. The brown fat burns energy in our body to generate heat
especially during cold climate. It is a good and healthy fat. It is found at
the back of the neck and the upper back. Have this fat as much as possible as
this makes you look and feel younger. You can increase brown fat in your body
by exercising during which the white fat gets converted to brown fat.
The white
fat is the one which is bad for the body as it stores fat in our body and
causes obesity. This fat helps our body in regulating hunger and also provides
heat to our body during times. White fat is found all over the body in hips,
thighs, buttocks, chest and abdomen also. This fat cause obesity, diabetes,
heart disease and even cancer. White fat quantity increases in your body if you
don’t do proper daily exercise. White fat is necessary for body functions but
excess can lead to problems.
RCAN1
So coming to
the main topic of RCAN1, professor Keating says that blocking RCAN1 helps in
transforming unhealthy white fat to healthy brown fat and thus solving the
problems mentioned above. This can be solved by making drugs that will target
the protein that makes this RCAN1 gene in human body. Experiment on the human
body has not been performed till now but is in the ongoing process. These drugs
can be the new anti-obesity drugs that will save millions of life around the
world. These drugs will burn calories in our body therefore storing less fats
in the body even when we are resting, so no exercise required but that should
not be the case, as daily exercise is must for a long and healthy life, no
shortcuts for that. The drugs only are for those people who are in the severe
stage of obesity.

may also stop many of the messages and mails that we receive like “reduce your
obesity”, “how to be thin” etc. heheh
